Fraternal Order of Police Endorses Griff Griffitts for House District 6

Panama City Beach, Fla. – Today, Griff Griffitts announced the endorsement of the Fraternal Order of Police, the largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers, with more than 364,000 members in more than 2,100 lodges nationwide. The organization is dedicated to improving workforce conditions for law enforcement officers through education, legislation, information, community involvement, and employee representation.

“I am very honored to have the support of the Fraternal Order of Police,” said Griff Griffitts. “The law enforcement officers of our communities put their lives on the line every day to protect the citizens of Florida, and it is with the utmost importance that we keep them safe. In the Florida House, I will fight for these brave men and women and work with them to promote public safety across our state.”

“We believe that Griff will be a strong advocate for the law enforcement community in the Florida House,” said Steve Zona, president of the Florida Fraternal Order Of Police. “He has a heart for Florida, and we are confident that he will lead District 6 with strength, and we are proud to endorse his campaign for State Representative.”

Griff Griffitts, the current County Commissioner for District 5, has previously served as Commissioner on the Panama City Beach Civil Service Board, the Bay County Planning Commission, and the Bay County Tourist Development Council. Griff is also a member of the Florida State-Panama City Foundation Development Board and has served as the Chairman of the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce, as well as on the board of the Bay County Chamber of Commerce.
